Lot 73 is contemporary artist Brian Parker’s ‘The Clore Gallery’ – Tate Britain #3 – Estimate: £1,800 – 2,500. Signed and dated (on the reverse), watercolour on paper, 70 x 50 cm – 2017. Created from a series that takes the viewer on a journey through the halls of The Tate’s Clore Gallery, this painting was a finalist in the Sunday Times Watercolour Exhibition 2018. Parker is an artist whose goal as a painter is to ‘create beautiful images which act directly on the visual sense..feelings of satisfaction and pleasure’.
